No, both insured and uninsured motorists can use the App.

Must I be the owner of the vehicle to request any type of service on the TowAway App?

 No, this is not a requirement.

I have requested a service via the app, however another Service Provider that was close by has just arrived at the scene, should I allow them to assist instead?

     If the requested Service Provider was enroute at the time of cancellation you shall incur a penalty fee.

Am I obligated to use the first response Service Provider?

No, legally you are not obligated to use the first response Service Provider.

Can I use the TowAway App if there has been a fatality or reportable crime according to the South African Law?

No, in this instance you are prohibited from requesting services as this requires police investigation, please seek legal advice to steer clear of legal repercussions or tampering with potential evidence.

Can I use the TowAway App to retrieve my vehicle or request services across SADC regions?

No, currently this service is only available within the borders of the Republic of South Africa.

I requested a service; however, the Service Provider did not arrive.

We aim to use our best efforts to connect you with the next available Service Provider momentarily.

Do you facilitate claims or disputes on my behalf?

No, this remains your sole responsibility. In addition, accident reports are your ongoing responsibility as a record of requested services by you will not constitute as an official report of an accident. TowAway assumes no liability in this regard as it pertains to the infringement notice in terms of Administrative Adjudication of Road Traffic Offences act (AARTO) or written notice to appear in court (J534).
